Field study to evaluate the efficacy of Bio Terra 1, Bio Terra 2, Herbali and HpActive in controlling disease present on potato.

 

Introduction

Fertlizers are substances supplying nutrients to plants or amending soil fertility.  Using fertilizers is the most effective means to increase crop production and to improve the quality of food and fodder.  The main use of fertilizers is to promote plant growth.  Nutrients mainly present in fertilizers include nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (the macronutrients) as well as some micronutrients added in smaller amounts.  Fertilizers are usually applied directly to the soil, but can also be applied as foliar sprays.

Objective

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of Bio Terra 1, Bio Terra 2, Herbali and Hp Active in controlling disease present on potato.  Define commercial dosage rate.  Compare to an untreated control and conventional treatments.
